Fort Campbell Soldiers support training effort for XCTC Exercise at Fort McCoy

Soldiers with the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment of Fort Campbell, Ky., move to a new location for a training scenario during operations for the Exportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) Exercise at a South Post training area on June 9, 2017, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The XCTC Exercise is coordinated by the Illinois National Guard’s 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team and Joint Forces Headquarters-Illinois. The exercise takes place for three weeks in June. XCTC is the Army National Guard’s program to provide participants with an experience similar to an Army combat training center at home station or a regional training center, such as Fort McCoy. The 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment conducted opposing forces training events for the exercise. (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T. Sturkol, Public Affairs Office, Fort McCoy, Wis.)
