General Robert Abrams, commanding general of U.S. Army Forces Command prepares to view a live-fire demonstration by Battery C, 1st Battalion, 88th Field Artillery Regiment, 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of Georgia Army National Guard. Accompanying General Abrams are Col. Matt Smith, commander of the 48th BCT; Brig. Gen. John B. Richardson IV, deputy commander, 3rd Infantry Division; Maj. Gen. Leopoldo Quintas, commander, 3rd Infantry Division; Lt. Col. Rodney Tatum, commander of 1-118th FA and Brig. Gen. Tom Carden, commanding general of the Georgia Army National Guard. The 118th FA and other units of the Macon-based 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team are conducting an eXportable Combat Training Capability rotation in partnership with the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Ga.
