U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Rob Donnelly, 380th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, conducts pre-flight checks on an RQ-4 Global Hawk Unmanned Aerial Vehicle before its first launch from an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, Nov. 27. The RQ-4 carries the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node which acts as a persistent gateway, bridging diverse tactical data links and voice communications to improve battlefield communications.
