Three Afghan National Police recruits take notes during a literacy class. Afghan police recruits currently undergoing basic training are not only building fundamental tactical skills, but they're also improving their level of education. Students enrolled in Afghan National Police class 11-1 are continuing their education in classes designed to bring the recruits up to a basic literacy level at the Joint Security Academy Southwest, Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan.
