170610-N-LC424-0549 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 10, 2017) Cryptologic Technician 2nd Hasaan Caldwell, a native of Jersey City, New Jersey, assigned to the operations department of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), photographs a vessel during a ships nautical or otherwise photographic information drill on the ship’s bridge. Pearl Harbor is currently underway, conducting a Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment. The America Amphibious Ready Group is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), and Pearl Harbor.
