U.S. Army and Iraqi security force leaders discuss plans for a new tactical assembly area, near Mosul, Iraq, June 7, 2017. The Iraqi commanders met with U.S. Army Soldiers, deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve and assigned to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, whose mission is to enable their partners through the advise and assist mission, contributing planning, intelligence collection and analysis, force protection, and precision fires to achieve the military defeat of ISIS.
