Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. James F. Amos listens to a question asked by a Marine during a visit to Camp Pendleton, Calif., Dec. 7. The commandant opened the floor to accept questions from a variety of topics including the likelihood of repealing the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, to specific questions regarding new weaponry and the possibility of downsizing the Corps and raising its standards.
