U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Newly Hall, joint forward observers, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division attached to 4th Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division observes an explosion made by F-16 Fighting Falcons on Besmaya Range, Forward Operating Base Hammer, Iraq, Nov. 17. The JFOs assigned to 4/3 ID performed refresher training by identifying targets and providing grid coordinates for a variety of aircraft to attack.
