U.S. Soldiers assigned to Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 258th Artillery Regiment, 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, New York Army National Guard, man an M119A2 Howitzer during an air assault artillery raid at Fort Drum, N.Y. on June 9, 2017. During the raid soldiers in Alpha Battery were airlifted by two UH-60 Black Hawks to the landing zones where they then used their howitzers to engage a simulated enemy target.
