A B-29 Superfortress, named Doc, taxis down the flightline at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., June 9, 2017. The restored aircraft was flown to Whiteman by U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Paul W. Tibbets IV, the 509th Bomb Wing commander, to perform during the 2017 Wings Over Whiteman air show June 10-11. Doc is one of only two B-29s in flying status.
