ADAZI, Latvia — Latvian Land Forces Soldier, Private Rolands Miglins, an infantryman with 2nd Infantry Battalion, peers through binoculars, June 4. Miglins searches for enemy movement in the woodline across the field from his position during Saber Strike. The Latvian Infantrymen pose a hasty defense while the Polish and Slovakian armed forces assume the roles hasty attack. Saber Strike is a U.S. Army Europe-led multinational combined forces training exercise in the Baltic region. The exercise tests the capability of multiple nations to defend against a threat.
