Lt. Andrew Fox, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, explains the functionality of the different EOD tools to task force leaders during the U.S. 7th Fleet Commander’s Training Symposium at Naval Base Guam June 7, 2017. The group of leaders is in Guam for two days of briefings, war games, and coordination meetings. EODMU 5 conducts mine countermeasures, improvised explosive device operations, renders safe explosive hazards, and disarms underwater explosives such as mines.
