U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, assigned to the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, sits on the flight line during pre-flight checks prior to aerial transport of a M1A1 Abrams Tank to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom on Nov. 28, 2010. The 816th EAS is currently deployed to an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia.
