Aidan Flippo, pilot for a day candidate, flies an F-35 simulator May 25, 2017, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Flippo was selected to be the 33rd Fighter Wing's pilot for a day. Aidan was born with Septo Optic Dysplasia which effects his eyes and kidneys. During his day, he met F-35 pilots, toured an aircraft, worked with aircraft maintainers and much more.
