Members of the 141 Brigade Support Battalion conduct crew-served weapons training, May 6, at the Yakima Training Center in Yakima, Wash., after setting up a Brigade Support Area (BSA). The BSA is a self-sustaining Area of Operation with specialty Soldiers like medics, cooks, mechanics, etc., and trained Soldiers who can provide the necessary logistics support for Infantry units in a combat environment. Lt. Col. Ginger Wietholder, Battalion Commander, said it is necessary training to meet the current demands for combat support operations. The 141 BSB conducted a variety of training events, including crew-served weapons proficiency.
