Members of the 141 Brigade Support Battalion (141 BSB) and 2nd Battalion, 218th Field Artillery (2-218 FA) conduct a fuel transfer mission at a Logistics Release Point (LRP), May 6, at the Yakima Training Center in Yakima, Wash., to transfer fuel between Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Fuel Servicing Trucks. The 141 BSB set up a Brigade Support Area (BSA) and conducted a variety of training events. The BSA is a self-sustaining Area of Operation with specialty Soldiers like medics, cooks, mechanics, etc., and trained Soldiers who can provide the necessary logistics support for Infantry units in a combat environment. Lt. Col. Ginger Wietholder, Battalion Commander, eluded to the necessity of the training to meet the current demands for combat support operations.
