170605-N-DL434-133 WHITE BEACH, Okinawa (June 5, 2017) Seaman Eric Rosser (right), from Waldorf, Md., secures a mooring a line to a bollard during sea and anchor detail aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) as the ship arrives to White Beach Naval Facility to embark Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). During the visit, the ship will embark 31st MEU personnel, vehicles and equipment, prior to continuing a scheduled patrol. Bonhomme Richard, flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, is on a routine patrol, operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to serve as a forward-capability for any type of contingency.
