Arabian Gulf (Dec. 23, 2006) - Fire Controlman 2nd Class Chris Blucherry, a Sailor with the guided-missile cruiser USS Anzio (CG 68), cools his heels during a Morale Welfare and Recreation sponsored tour near Jabal Ali, one of seven emirates that comprise the United Arab Emirates, Dec. 24. IKE pulled into Jabal Ali as part of a Morale Welfare and Recreational visit, to allow the crew a few days off from their hard work in the 5th Fleet Area of Operations. IKE and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
