Arabian Gulf (Dec. 23, 2006) - Sailors from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) climb Camel Rock during a Morale Welfare and Recreation sponsored tour, Day Long Safari, Dec. 24. IKE pulled into Jabal Ali as part of a Morale Welfare and Recreational visit, to allow the crew a few days off from their hard work in the 5th Fleet Area of Operations. IKE and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
