Civil leaders from the villages of Cincu, Iacobeni, Merghindeal, and other surrounding communities meet with Brig. Gen. Gheorghita Vlad, base commander of Joint National Training Center, Cincu, Romania, in a meeting facilitated by Soldiers of the 83rd Civil Affairs Battalion as a part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, of which Resolute Castle 17 is a part. Atlantic Resolve and Resolute Castle 17 are exercises strengthening the NATO alliance and enhancing its capacity for joint training and response to threats within the region.
