170531-N-NJ416-0062 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 31, 2017) A MH-60 Seahawk assigned to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23 prepares to land on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). The America ARG, which is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to America, the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), and the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), is currently underway conducting a Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment.
