An honor guard from the local American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts salutes as Taps is played in honor of Pfc. Herbert A. Grue, a World War II veteran whose family was presented with his awards during a ceremony May 28 in Birchwood, Wisconsin. Grue was killed in action when his ship was attacked November 16, 1942.
