Petty Officer 2nd Class Andrew Downs, from Peoria, Ill., embarked aboard the High Speed Vessel Swift, paints a home during a community service project as part of Southern Partnership Station 2011. The project supported Chileans whose homes were lost or damaged during the Feb. earthquake and tsunami. Southern Partnership Station is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
