Juan Jose Escobar, the Spanish ambassador to Iraq and the outgoing Spanish Commander of Forces review the formation before beginning the transfer of authority at the Besmaya Range Complex, Iraq, May 19, 2017. The Spanish trainers, deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, along with more than 60 other Coalition partners, have committed themselves to the goal of eliminating the threat posed by ISIS in Iraq and Syria and have contributed in various capacities to the effort.
