Petty Officer 3rd Class David Neiman directs a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, as it prepares to land aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge. The Super Stallion detachment returned to VMM-266 after spending two months in Pakistan supporting humanitarian aid and disaster relief operations. Kearsarge is the command ship of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
