Kalvin McElroy, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and an infantryman assigned to Company A, 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, engages targets from the kneeling position during a joint, combined unknown distance live-fire range with the U.S. Marines and the Italian Army.
