PORTLAND, Ore. (May 22, 2017) Capt. Jeff Farah reads his orders as he assumes command of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) from Capt. Drew St. John during a change of command ceremony, May 22. Farah relieved St. John during the ceremony held at the Naval Operations Support Center Portland. Frank Cable, currently in Portland, Ore. for a scheduled dry-dock maintenance availability, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
