A broken street lamp gives the illusion of a bright light in the mid afternoon at the Shalamsha Port of Entry along the border between Iraq and Iran. Soldiers of Troop B, 4th Sqdn., 4th Cav. Reg., 3rd AAB, 4th Inf. Div., based at Patrol Base Minden, provide security and assistance for the U.S. security transition team that advises and assists the border police and customs agents at the port.
