Specialist Ladesica Meeks, a food service specialist with the 2nd Battalion, 82nd Aviation Regiment, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, adds an egg to pound cake mix as a part of the Culinary Arts Cook-off May 22, 2017 at the Culinary Arts Training Center at Fort Bragg, N.C.
The Culinary Arts Cook-off is a recent addition to the All American Week traditions. Currently in its third year, the cooking competition pits small teams of Paratroopers from different dining facilities against each other in a television-show worthy cook off. Each team presents a four-course meal to the 82nd Airborne Division leaders and they vote to determine which dining facility team is the best.
