A K9 unit and U.S. soldiers from Crazy Troop, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division search for weapon caches during Operation Aftershock in Marez, Iraq, Oct. 28. The operation was a joint effort with Iraqi Security Forces to disrupt insurgent weapons smuggling operations in the Ninewa province of Iraq.
