FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 13, 2017) - Equipment Operator 2nd Class Mark Garcia, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, sketches a defensive fire plan on a range card for an Alfa Company fire pit sector of fire for Forward Operating Base Anderson during a field training exercise in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., May 13. The training allows troops to demonstrate how to engage mock attackers using the M4 and M16 rifles, the M240B and MK2 .50-caliber machine guns, and the MK19 grenade launcher to more than 100 evaluators from Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1 and Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC).
