A landing craft air cushion assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5 departs the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer to transport equipment and personnel from 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit ashore. Boxer, as part of the Boxer Amphibious Readiness Group, and the 13th MEU are underway off the coast of Southern California participating in a composite training unit exercise in preparation for deployment in early 2011.
