Don Ipson receives an award from Maj. General Brian L. Tarbet, adjutant general, Utah National Guard, for his volunteerism and involvement with the Family Readiness Group during the TAG Symposium, Nov. 6, at the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird Ski Resort. Ipson volunteers for his wife’s unit, the Medical Detachment at Camp Williams. The TAG Symposium is an annual conference put on by Family Programs in coordination with the adjutant general. This year’s theme, Family Matters, provided training that will bring military leaders and the Family Readiness volunteers together to brainstorm and innovate for military families.
