Airmen assigned to the 109th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard, depart an LC-130 Skibird at Raven Camp, Greenland to participate in the field portion of “Kool Skool” on June 2, 2015 . About 25 Airmen are participating in the 2017 Kool Skool, which teaches Airmen arctic survival skills, including how to build a shelter and use only the items immediately available to them to survive in the arctic.
