Soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division download their duffel bags from pallets after a lengthy flight from the US on May 16th, 2017 at Nuremberg Airport, Germany. The unit was only given two weeks notice that they would be deploying to Germany as part of an emergency deployment readiness exercise, which demonstrates the ability of the US to send troops overseas at a moments notice.
