SAN DIEGO (May 15, 2017) Logistics Specialist 3rd Class Fong Vang meets his daughter for the first time as the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) returns to Naval Base San Diego from a deployment. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (11th MEU) completed a scheduled seven-month deployment to the Pacific, Middle East, and the Horn of Africa.
