Family descendants and media observe the reinterment of Revolutionary War Private Samuel Howard May 12, 2017 at Resthaven Cemetery in Baxter, Ky. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District worked with local community and state officials to move Howard from Wix-Howard Cemetery when his grave was endangered by soil movement from a design deficiency of a flood control project completed in the 1990s.
