U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, offload two simulated downed pilots from an MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 364 to a nearby medical facility during a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel exercise in Jordan, May 8, 2017. This event supported Eager Lion 2017, a recurring multinational exercise designed to strengthen military-to-military relationships, increase interoperability between partner nations, and enhance regional security and stability. These Marines are part of the dedicated TRAP force of 1/7, the ground combat element for the Special Purpose MAGTF. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is currently forward deployed to several nations in CENTCOM with the ability to respond to a variety of contingencies rapidly and effectively. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
