(May 11, 2017) - Builder Constructionman Anthony Murphy, from Phoenix, Arizona, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, mans a .50 caliber machine gun and performs checks before departing on a convoy mission during NMCB 4’s Field Training Exercise (FTX). The FTX prepares and tests the battalion’s ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by Naval Construction Group 1.
