Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 27 Commanding Officer, Cmdr. Fitzhugh Lee awards Shelle Napier with the Association of Naval Aviation's 2009 Dorothy M. Flatley Naval Aviation Spouse of the Year Award here, Nov. 9. This award is given annually to a naval aviation spouse who has shown extraordinary inspirational support to Navy families, especially during times of deployment. Napier is the wife of former VFA-27 Command Master Chief Mike Napier.
