An EA-6B Prowler assigned to the Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron (VAQ) 139 the Cougars is waved off due to a foul deck on its approach to the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) . The EA-6B Prowler is a twin-engine, mid-wing aircraft designed for carrier and advanced base operations, provides an umbrella of protection for strike aircraft, ground troops and ships by jamming communications.
