ARABIAN GULF (May 2, 2017) Seaman Brandi Harrington, left, and Seaman Paul Greene, assigned to USS Mahan (DDG 72), look for contacts as A Royal Saudi Navy Patrol Gunboat (Missile) pulls alongside the Mahan during replenishment at sea training in the Arabian Gulf during Exercise Nautical Union 17. Nautical Union is a bilateral multi-dimensional exercise between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, which promotes interoperability, cross-training and maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
