SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND, Calif. -Lance Cpl. David Hernandez, an automatic rifleman, holds security on a building during a mechanized assault as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise, May 4, 2017. COMPTUEX is the second at-sea training period for the America Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The AARG and 15th MEU train as they fight; this exercise allows the building and refinement of the Blue-Green Team as they to work closely to plan and execute critical missions to prepare them for anything that may arise during their upcoming deployment.
