A passerby takes a photo of Wendy Thomas and her son Zachary Thomas of Oakley, Calif. Zachary has just enlisted into the United States Air Force with forty two other recruits in front of thousands of well-wishers. Travis Air Force Base Calif. hosted the “Wings over Solano” Air Show on May 6 and 7, 2017. Performers included the United States Air Force Thunderbirds Aerial Demonstration Team, Air Force Academy Wings of Blue and United States Army Golden Knights parachute teams also performed. The United States Air Force C-17 Globemaster III, KC-10 Extender, C-5M Galaxy and United States Marine Corps F-18 Hornet also demonstrated their capabilities in front of thousands of visitors.
