A Marine assigned to Combat Cargo, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), directs a Marine assigned to India Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, to his next destination after landing onto amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) from an UH-1Y Venom during a fast-roping exercise focused on boarding a vessel April 29, 2017. The 24th MEU is underway with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
