The 212th Combat Support Hospital (212th CSH) emergency room staff assesses a simulated casualty during triage at the 7th Army Training Command’s Hohenfels Training Area, April 27, 2017. The 212th CSH provides medical support for the 2nd Cavalry Regiment (2nd CR) during the multinational exercise Saber Junction 17. This exercise is the U.S. Army Europe’s 2nd CR’s combat training center certification exercise, designed to assess the readiness of the regiment to conduct unified land operations, with a particular emphasis on rehearsing the transition from garrison to combat operations, and exercising operational and tactical decision-making skills. Saber Junction 17 includes nearly 4,500 participants from 13 NATO and European partner nations. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc. Craig Carter)
