Ms. Yvonne Gibbons, a civil engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers addressed young women from Walla Walla High School, along with other professional women who attended the Women in Engineering Event at the SEATech Center on April 26, 2017. The science, technology, engineering and math event was organized in order to expose students to a variety of opportunities and bridge the gap in occupations where there is a gender disparity.
