Lance Cpl. Matthew Moser of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced) starts up the rotors of an RQ-21A Blackjack unmanned aerial surveillance aircraft, preparing it for launch from the flight deck aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) as part of an unmanned flight operation April 28, 2017. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is underway with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 6th Fleet area of operations.
