    170428-N-GD109-016 PHILIPPINE SEA (April 28, 2017) Two F/A-18 Super Hornets from Carrier Air Wing (CVW) Two and two F-15 Eagles from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force fly over the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyers JS Samidare (DD 106) and JS Ashigara (DDG 178), the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108) and USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112), Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) and Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) as they transit the Philippine Sea.
