SAN ANTONIO – (April 25, 2017) South Gate, Calif., native Capt. Edgardo Moreno, executive officer of the USS San Antonio (LPD-17), addresses students at Memorial High School prior to a performance from the “Destroyers”, the popular music group of Navy Band Southwest from San Diego. Crew members of the USS San Antonio, along with Sailors from Navy Recruiting District San Antonio, visited the school to conduct community outreach and spread Navy Awareness as part of Fiesta festivities.
